An Electronic Dictionary with a Waste Glossary which contains around 3000 terms and their definitions. The Waste Glossary is the first electronic dictionary on the subjects of waste and environment, which will provide comprehensive scientific definitions of all terms. It comprises around 3000 entries in German and English. The dictionary is suitable not only for a quick reference. The users can retrieve translation tips per mouse click and insert them simultaneously in their own texts, while writing them. At the moment Word, Word Perfect and Ami Pro are supported.Terms from all relevant environmental spheres could be found in the dictionary. As far as waste is concerned, there will be references to all characteristics of the thematic field and treatment methods. Further themes, including waste water, drinking water, water pollution control and refrigeration technology stand on the agenda. What is more, numerous scientific contributions from the ORBIT website have been also included. In addition tables with the various units for measurement and their conversion based on the International System of Units SI are filed on the CD.
