PROCEEDINGS CONFERENCE: “THE FUTURE OF RESIDUAL WASTE MANAGEMENT IN EUROPE For DOWNLOAD”

Future Challenges Regarding Climate Change and Sustainable Material Flow Management

Sponsored by:

17th AND 18th NOVEMBER 2005 | LUXEMBOURG

This international conference is jointly organised by the Public Research Centre Henri Tudor (Luxembourg) and by ORBIT (the Association for Organic Recovery and Biological Treatment, Weimar, Germany) and supported by Luxembourg's National Research Fund as well as by the Ministry of the Environment.

The conference focus on the future challenges for waste management in Europe as given by the new developments of the European policy and R&D results, regarding residual waste management options, as well as on their legal, technical, economical and social consequences for the Member States. A specific attention is given to the link between the European policies regarding waste management and the legislation aiming at the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

The presentations are hold by international experts (List of speakers)
